About the Symposium
The Singapore Prevention & Cardiac Rehabilitation Symposium (SPCRS) is a biennial event organised by the Singapore Heart Foundation (SHF) that brings together the most recent evidence-based solutions and innovative approaches in the field of preventive cardiology and cardiac rehabilitation. The symposium aims to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and best practices among healthcare and allied health professionals across the region.
First launched in 2015, SPCRS was organised with the support of key institutions including the National Heart Centre Singapore, the National University Heart Centre Singapore, the Singapore Cardiac Society, the International Council of Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation, as well as the World Heart Federation.
This year will mark the 6th edition of SPCRS. The theme of this year’s symposium is “Reimagining Cardiac Rehabilitation and Prevention: Thinking Outside the Box”, and it reflects our commitment to fostering fresh perspectives and innovative approaches to cardiac rehabilitation.

About the Singapore Heart Foundation
The Singapore Heart Foundation (SHF) is a social service agency at the forefront of the battle against heart disease since 1970. Driven by an unwavering vision of a healthier Singapore population, SHF is dedicated to promoting better heart health for every individual living in Singapore, through evidence-based information and practices that keep every heart beating healthily.
Through strategic life-saving initiatives underlined by the three core pillars of Prevention, Rehabilitation, and Resuscitation, SHF upholds its enduring mission to champion heart health and alleviate the effects of cardiovascular disease and stroke. It aims to prevent not only physical suffering but also the premature loss of precious lives. SHF also extends a helping hand to those in need by offering financial assistance to heart patients in moments of crisis and ensuring that they receive the timely support and medical care they require.
We believe that every heartbeat matters and that by nurturing healthier hearts and helping those in need, we can make a significant impact on the lives we touch. Together, we forge a path towards a brighter, healthier future, one heartbeat at a time.
